Negros Island, with the oversight of its two provincial governments, has pushed forward an organic farming program that has been tagged as the most successful in the country, solidifying the Island’s claim to the TITLE
as the “Organic Food Bowl of Asia.” Fresh Start, young company owned by a young couple, Ramon, Jr. and Francine Uy, has led the growing movement from the private sector more than half a decade already. 
Fresh Start initially started only with a less than a hectare organic vegetable and herb farm in Silay City that became the best sell among signature restaurants in Bacolod, Cebu and Manila. While the fresh organic farm greens CONTINUE to be Fresh Start’s main products, they also ventured in producing personal care and home care products made from organic products without the chemicals and additives.
